Just a 1.5-hour drive from your cabin, Mesa Verde National Park is a sacred preserve. This area was once home to the Anasazi people. See their cliff dwellings, the Cliff Palace, and pay a visit to the Chapin Mesa Archeological Museum.
A little more than an hour away, guests can visit the Sand Canyon Trail to see the Sculpted Monoliths of McElmo Canyon. This is a hearty, one-hour guided hike that culminates in a wine tasting over a packed lunch at Sutcliffe Vineyards.
