There’s good reason why Arenal is Costa Rica’s most energetic region: volcano-fed hot springs, emerald-draped hanging bridges, and the dramatic Arenal Volcano, one of the 10 most active volcanoes in the world. Whether you're kayaking, sport fishing, or exploring on horseback, you'll see why Arenal is the adventure capital of Costa Rica. After a hard day's play, there are plenty of day spas to rejuvenate you and connect with sublime surroundings. The Nayara Suite is located in Nayara Hotel, whereas the the Springs Villa lies within Nayara Springs, the adults-only VIP boutique hotel. The two communicate via a pedestrian bridge above the rainforest.
Outdoor spa bungalows. Need we say more? The Spa at Nayara is unparalleled. Personalized treatments and mindful hands are your one-way ticket to elation. A massage in the middle of the rainforest will surely leave you renewed.
Become one with Arenal’s eccentricity. Safari float excursions, volcano hikes, and hanging bridge traversing will channel your inner-eco. Not afraid of the dark? We recommend the night forest walk.
Renowned for the Arenal Volcano, but admired for so much more - hiking trails, waterfalls, and hot springs adorn the lush, natural landscape of Arenal National Park. Plan a day trip and attempt to take it all in.
Dynamic energy and distinct flavor accompany each of the four savory dining options at Nayara. Exclusive to guests of the resort, cuisine ranges from credible Costa Rican to Asian Fusion, and everything in between.
Arenal Lake is hailed as one of the best places in the world to windsurf. The breeze is steady, the waters are mild and shallow, and the views of Arenal Volcano are unbeatable - ideal conditions for windsurfers.
Arenal Volcano National Park is a home to over 400 species of birds, including hummingbirds, kingfishers, woodpeckers, falcons, parrots, and toucans. This natural wildlife sanctuary is a must for avid birders.

While the area of Arenal is typically mild with an average temperature of 75 degrees, expect rain at any time of the year. June through October are likely to be the wettest. As you climb the slopes of the volcano, as you’d climb any mountain, the temperatures dip and the precipitation increases. Pack your poncho. Temperatures will be comfortable and sunshine is generous.
